Thank you Maria for this weeks writing. I am a person who speaks rather quick prayers through out the day ... ones of thanks, praise and appreciation for things that happen but also for the world around me probably happen the most. But I also ask for strength and patience. I have been known to send up a joke of sorts at times... a kind of apology for whatever I said or was thinking. God hears all our thoughts, too, you know. Then there are the quick prayers of healing or strength for others in need. I have found I often fall asleep before I have finished praying for everyone and everything ... along with the grateful parts... if I wait and say a prayer at night. Better to do it while it's fresh in one's head. I talk to God all day.
