Spiritual Childhood Amid Parenthood

This week I’m in the throes of enjoying family time. The kids are on spring break, and thanks to this time off being scheduled, I don’t feel completely frazzled. Spending so much time with my kids got me thinking about how I’m called to be a child of God, but it’s hard to embrace my inner child while I’m busy managing and disciplining the children God has entrusted to me. So I watched their behavior and discovered a simple yet profound insight. By taking notes from my kids, I’m working toward being a better child of God.
