This week, I’m in the throes of editing my nonfiction book. Whew, there are a lot of edits. It’s been a humbling experience, and working on it day after day is taking its toll. Then I remembered how I used to invite my childhood best friend to sit on my bed while I cleaned my room. Inviting Jesus to hang with us while we accomplish our challenging tasks may be exactly what we need.
